Junior Rock hounds – This free class is for all kids from 5 to 13 who like rocks and want to have fun learning about them is held on Saturday from 3:00 to 4:30pm at 480 S. Rock Boulevard, Sparks, NV. We will think about the Earth with some activities and then explore fossils.. You can stay with your children during the class, and friends are welcome. (Membership with the Reno Gem and Mineral Society is not required.) Students can earn badges with their attendance. Every student receives a rock or mineral for their own rock collection.
