Events

In addition to our many field trips, we also offer a variety of fun social events! There’s usually a raffle, and if food is involved it’s advised to add a few notches to your belt beforehand.

2020 Event Schedule:

Jackpot of Gems - Our big annual show! From raw specimens to cut and polished pieces, to finished jewelry, come check out what our members have found and created. Please note that only sales from licensed vendors in the vendor area are permitted during show hours.

Used Equipment Sale - The name says it all… Our annual sale is a great place for beginners and experienced alike to find great deals on lapidary and jewelry making equipment!

Summer Picnic - Bring a dish to share at this potluck style event as we find some shade and a cold drink to escape the summer heat.

Christmas Party - During the winter holidays we like to “rock” around the christmas tree. Join us for a potluck of monolithic proportions.

Show And Tell Night - Bring a few of your latest finds, or your whole collection! Tables will be provided at one of our monthly general meetings for this fun, informal event.
